The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services on the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering companies for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency explained it is actually alarmed in regards to the substantial range of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The intention with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some large variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office devoted to service the area regularly. The provider stage designed for intervention experiences a significant influx of opportunity beneficiaries, that makes it challenging for the office to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional methods to empower the servicing of all customers and raise entry to Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
